John Praino »
John Praino attended Mahopac H.S. in Mahopac New York where he excelled as a three sport athlete. He attended Long Island University, C.W. Post on a scholarship to play Division IA baseball. John graduated from C.W. Post with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and a minor in Exercise Physiology. In the fall of 1998 he took a job teaching physical education and coaching baseball in the Yonkers Public School district. In june of 1999 John became a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). He worked for two years as a master trainer in New York City at New York Sports Club learning everything he could about the industry.
After two years there John started his own training company called The Wedding Trainer. For the next six years he privately trained “brides to be” all over Manhattan. After a one year contract as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Iona College women’s basketball team John changed the Wedding Trainer to Maxed Out and teamed up with Bill Felice to start a fitness company aimed at training athletes of all ages. He is currently training professional, college, high school and youth athletes all over Westchester and Putnam County’s including North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers, Katonah, Mahopac, Pleasantville and Yonkers
He has also coached baseball on the varsity level at Byram Hills High School and most recently Putnam Valley High School. In addition to training John has been asked to speak at many coaches conferences throughout Westchester County. He is currently teaching physical education in Yonkers as well as training children, adults and athletes of all ages in Katonah New York. John has recently become certified in Training For Warriors. He continues to preach fitness as a “lifestyle” to his students and clients and is committed to helping them achieve the highest level of fitness.
Bill Felice »
Bill Felice earned his BS from Radford University in Virginia and his MSEd from The College of New Rochelle. Since 2002 he has been a physical education teacher at the Riverside Middle School, which is now the Riverside High School, in the Yonkers City School System. Bill is also building a successful coaching record in both Junior Varsity and Varsity sports. As head coach of Varsity Track in 2006 and 2007, he led his team to the state championship both seasons. In 2008, Bill was asked to organize a soccer program for the school. He has since earned Coach of the Year Awards for JV and is currently coaching Riversides Varsity soccer team.
Always a strong advocate of physical fitness and its long lasting benefits, Bill has maintained his certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA). Most recently Bill has become certified in Training For Warriors. He has been asked to present and provide demonstrations for the Yonkers Coaches Conference and for several Westchester County high school programs. Additionally, Bill is currently training professional, college,high school and youth athletes in Somers, North Salem, Katonah and Pleasantville and Mahopac.
Bill is particularly proud of his most recent accomplishment. He has successfully launched a Strength and Conditioning Program at Riverside High School. As a physical education teacher and coach, Bill knows the obvious health benefits. He also knows that good physical fitness can prevent many sports related injuries.
Bill Felice is committed to helping children and adults achieve optimal fitness as well as the prevention of many common sports related injuries. He has successfully incorporated his philosophy into the daily curriculum at Riverside High School and has made it the driving force behind his independent fitness program.
